American Premier Home Health Care can provide skilled assessments of a patient’s condition, administer injectable medications and provide crisis interventions. A psychiatric nurse can help patients and their caregivers coping with Dementia, Alzheimer’s and other psychiatric illnesses. Additionally, individual and family counseling is also available by our experienced staff of social workers, occupational therapists and home health aides.

Qualifications for this Program

• Be under the care of a physician and have been diagnosed with psychiatric illness or symptom
• Have uncontrolled anger outbursts
• Have inability to cope because of anxiety
• Have paranoia
• Have a short-term memory deficit requiring supervision to leave home
• Mental confusion
• Unable to maintain continued activity
• Be unable to self-direct
• Have auditory or visual hallucinations causing abnormal behavior
